From Indie Rock, Folk, Acoustic Pop to Americana and Country, the artist from Lancaster, Pennsylvania is someone we are betting our money and reputation on. - B.R.E.

The four full length albums feature a blend of acoustic rock, folk, blues, country and grunge with a 60’s psychedelic and surf rock flair. Hunter writes, records, mixes, and produces all of his own albums all while self managing the projects social media and business aspects. He has been playing and touring professionally all over central PA, Northeast America and the East coast for all but a decade.

“Hunter Root generally requires frequent revisits of his Acoustic-anchored catalog for the artist keeps importing a sense of adventure, progress through life, and dealing with emotions via his increasingly legendary releases such as Quicksand Sinking.” - B.R.E.

“It’s without a doubt that Root writes his truth, a kind of truth that some people can spend all their lives trying to avoid confronting, while others find their own honesty in his. Root doesn’t hesitate to peel back very raw layers and give listeners all of himself. It’s displayed both physically in his harrowing vocals and metaphorically in lyrical content.” - NEPAudio

“He’s polished,” Krepps said. “Most of what he does isn’t stuff you hear every day. He’s just a breath of fresh air. He’s an inspired composer, singer-songwriter and player.” - The Daily Item

“With a solo album to his name each year dating back to 2018, in addition to multiple more with his band Medusa's Disco, Root might just be one of the busiest musicians in Lancaster.” - LNP
